Our professional learning experiences are grounded in current educational research, evidence-based instructional practices, and decades of leadership experience in special education, school administration, inclusive education, Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), behavioral supports, and neurodivergent learner success. Travel and Expenses Policy

  • Local travel within 60 miles round-trip of the Mosaic Minds Center primary location is included in the service fee.
  • Travel beyond 60 miles round-trip will be billed at the current IRS standard mileage rate.
  • Lodging is required for events exceeding one full day or requiring departure before 6:00 AM or return after 9:00 PM.
  • For overnight travel, a daily per diem of $75 applies to cover meals and incidental expenses.
  • For travel exceeding 300 miles one way, economy airfare may be required.
  • All travel, lodging, mileage, airfare, and per diem expenses must be preapproved in writing.
  • Payment or reimbursement of approved travel expenses is due within 15 days of invoice.

Professional Development

Professional development consists of structured, research-informed learning experiences designed to strengthen educator knowledge, instructional practice, and systems-level effectiveness. Mosaic Minds’ professional development services support school districts, educational organizations, and professional learning communities in building inclusive, responsive environments that improve access, engagement, and outcomes for neurodivergent learners and students with disabilities. All professional development engagements are
customized to organizational goals and audience needs, with an emphasis on practical application, educator capacity building, and sustainable impact.

Travel and Expenses Policy

  • Local travel within 60 miles round-trip of the Mosaic Minds Center for Autism & Neurodivergent Learning primary location is included in the service fee.
  • Travel beyond 60 miles round-trip will be billed at the current IRS standard mileage rate, calculated from the Mosaic Minds Center for Autism & Neurodivergent Learning primary location to the event site.
  • Lodging is required for events exceeding one full day or for travel requiring departure before 6:00 AM or return after 9:00 PM. Lodging may be booked and paid directly by the hosting organization or reimbursed to Mosaic Minds at actual cost for a standard business-class hotel.
  • For events requiring overnight travel, a daily per diem of $75 will apply to cover meals and incidental expenses. Per diem is not required if meals are provided by the hosting organization.
  • For travel exceeding 300 miles one way, airfare may be required. Airfare must be economy class, nonrefundable, and either booked directly by the hosting organization or reimbursed upon receipt.
  • All travel, lodging, mileage, airfare, and per diem expenses must be preapproved in writing and are not included in professional service fees unless explicitly stated in the contract.
  • Payment or reimbursement of approved travel expenses is due within 15 days of invoice.
