Who We Are

Mosaic Minds Center for Autism & Neurodivergent Learning is dedicated to empowering neurodivergent learners and their families across Eastern North Carolina. We provide educational, therapeutic, and advocacy services designed to support children, adolescents, and young adults with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, sensory processing differences, executive functioning challenges, and other neurodivergent learning needs to thrive in school, the community, and throughout life. Founded in response to the significant shortage of specialized services in rural Eastern North Carolina, Mosaic Minds was created to bridge critical gaps in access to support. While larger metropolitan areas often offer a wide range of autism, ADHD, and neurodiversity-related resources, many families in Beaufort, Hyde, Washington, Tyrrell, Martin, Pitt, Craven, and surrounding counties continue to face long waitlists, limited provider availability, and extensive travel to obtain services.

At Mosaic Minds, we believe every individual deserves access to opportunities that foster growth, belonging, independence, confidence, and success. Our work is grounded in equity, dignity, collaboration, and evidence-informed practices. Through individualized support, community partnerships, and neurodiversity-affirming approaches, we are helping build a future where neurodivergent individuals have the opportunity to reach their full potential.

What We Do

Mosaic Minds provides comprehensive educational, therapeutic, and advocacy services designed to strengthen communication, social-emotional development, executive functioning, self-regulation, academic achievement, and independent living skills while supporting families throughout their journey.

Nonprofit Services Include:

Mosaic Minds Neurodivergent Center, Inc. was established as a separate nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing barriers to care and expanding equitable access to resources, supports, and opportunities for neurodivergent children, teens, adults, and families throughout Eastern North Carolina and surrounding communities. Through community partnerships, educational initiatives, advocacy efforts, outreach programming, grants, donations, and scholarship opportunities, the organization works to help provide financial assistance and reduce financial, geographic, educational, and systemic barriers that often limit access to quality neurodiversity-affirming services and supports.

Funding secured through grants, donations, sponsorships, and community partnerships helps provide scholarships, sliding-scale fees, and reduced-cost services for families who may otherwise be unable to access critical educational, therapeutic, social-emotional, and sensory support programs. As funding grows, Mosaic Minds can expand services, increase scholarship opportunities, and reach more families across underserved communities throughout Eastern North Carolina.

Together, the nonprofit and for-profit arms of Mosaic Minds operate in intentional synergy, delivering sustainable, community-centered services that advance educational equity, foster social-emotional wellness, and support neurodivergent individuals and their families. By empowering families, building community partnerships, and expanding access to quality services, Mosaic Minds is helping create brighter futures for neurodivergent learners across the region.
